The famous French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir created the Impressionist-style painting Portrait of Coco in 1903. The So Paulo Museum of Art in So Paulo, Brazil, houses this piece. The third son of Auguste Renoir, who would become a well-known film director as an adult, is shown in this painting as a two-year-old named Coco. The painting is vibrantly colored in yellow and blue. The child's delicate, pale skin and the blue dress stand out in contrast to the child's almost-invisible yellow-brown hair. At the age of 62, Pierre-Auguste Renoir produced this painting. (Co, 2022)
